Gazibo Amadou Djibo

A Toastmaster since 19 October 2007, I have served in multiple club officer roles, then as Area Governor for Area 09, followed by Public Relations Manager for six months. I am the sponsor of 14 clubs and Director of Division Q, which I led and elevated to President's Distinguished Division in 2023. Credentials Chair in 2023, and Conference Chair of the 1st Conference of District 130. Division C Toastmaster of the Year in 2023, and first-ever District 130 Toastmaster of the Year in 2025. Stability to grow, Expansion to succeed, Unity of 12 countries through Excellence — my vision for District 130.

An Afro-optimist, my professional journey has led me to lead telecommunications and pay television companies across Central and West Africa. I joined Toastmasters in 2017 in Burkina Faso to sharpen my public speaking and strengthen my leadership. I quickly took on several key roles, eventually becoming District Finance Manager. As a coach, mentor, and committed contributor, I invest fully in the growth of clubs and members. Married and father of two, I am driven by personal and collective development. Rigorous and passionate, I continue to put my energy at the service of the District.

Mohammed AlHassan

Alhassan Mohammed is a seasoned banking professional and strategic leader with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as an Assistant Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he drives policy implementation, operations, and stakeholder engagement. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration, an MPhil in Leadership and Strategic Studies, and is a PhD candidate in Leadership & Strategic Studies. A Distinguished Toastmaster and two-time TEDx speaker, Alhassan has held several impactful Toastmasters leadership roles, including Division Director, Area Director, Club President, Vice President Education, Finance Manager, Logistics Manager, and District Club Extension Chair. He has also served as a coach, mentor, and sponsor to multiple clubs. He is a multiple award-winning leader, including Most Outstanding Division Director (2025), and led Division J to President’s Distinguished status and Division of the Year, achieving record growth across 12 countries. Alhassan enjoys football, reading, and swimming. Alhassan brings a powerful blend of corporate leadership and Toastmasters experience, with a proven ability to build systems that deliver sustainable growth. Olinga Valere

Valère OLINGA, DTM, is a founding member of the first Toastmasters club in Cameroon and Central Africa (Yaoundé TMC, 2016). An experienced leader, he has served at all levels of the District, notably as Vice-President of Education, Club President, Area Director, Division Director, Club Extension Chair, Finance Manager of District 94 and currently Public Relations Manager of District 130 for a second consecutive term. A key figure in Toastmasters’ expansion across Central Africa, he has contributed to the creation, mentoring and development of several clubs in Cameroon, Congo and Chad, with a constant commitment to sustainable, high-quality growth. Recognised for his achievements and leadership, he is deeply committed to personal development and youth training, sharing his expertise with organisations such as the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Professor Achille Mbembe’s Foundation for Innovation.

Marie-Reine Nicole GBAGUIDI, Toastmaster from Benin and candidate for the position of Division A Director. I am an Accounting and Financial Auditor, and Inspector General of a Ministry. In Toastmasters, I am a founding member of 3 clubs, a mentor, a sponsor, and I have held several Vice President roles before becoming President. I have served as: Assistant Program Quality Director for Area 6, 2018–2019 Area 28 Director, 2024–2025, concurrently serving as Quality Clubs Co-Chair for District 130 Currently: Assistant Program Quality Director for Division A, and Co-Chair for Training and Education on the District 130 PQD Committee.

OUEDRAOGO Zallia MANTORO

Zallia MANTORO/OUEDRAOGO, DTM, is a pioneering Toastmasters leader in Burkina Faso. She became the first female president of 2IE, Burkina Faso's first English-speaking club, and later led the Ouaga English Women Leaders Club after earning her Super DTM designation. A founding member of the Advanced Maestria club, she has mentored leaders now heading the Digital Toastmasters Club. Zallia has expanded Toastmasters across West Africa through demonstration sessions, judging panels, and club development in Mali and Niger. At District 130, she served as Education and Training Chair and founding Administrative Secretary. She is widely respected as a humble, impactful mentor and coach.

ZANGREYANOGHO Jeannine Bertille

I’ve been a Toastmaster since March 2019 and am a member of both the Ouaga Eveil and UMOJA online clubs. I’m married and the mother of four adorable children, and I work as a bank executive. I’m passionate about personal development and the world of childhood, and I love spending time with my family, planning birthday parties, and especially talking about Toastmasters with those around me. I also enjoy tidying up because I don’t like clutter. My favorite quote is by Laurent Sadoux: “Every day is a life; let’s work toward the beauty of things.”

Ejura is a Project Manager, Trainer, and passionate Toastmaster. Just like many before her, she has served in most club leadership offices and also served as Area Director, additionally contributing to several committees on projects within the Toastmasters community. Over the years, Ejura has risen past fears, self-doubts and limited confidence and grown into a bold, results-driven and resilient leader. She lives in the serene city of Abuja and loves traveling, listening to music and solving puzzles.

IB joined toastmasters in June 2020 as the charter Vice President of TotalEnergies Lagos Toastmasters Club, formerly Total Toastmasters Club. Also, a member of the Les Toastmaster Multilingues which she joined to improve her knowledge of the French Language. IB has since grown to hold multiple roles from Club President to Area Director, and currently assist the current Division D Director, as the Division’s Programme Quality Director. A multidisciplinary professional who began her career in Finance after an Actuarial Science degree. I currently work in the Energy sector in Lagos. IB loves travelling, having travelled extensively around the world.

Srabelo Hervé Yao has been a Toastmaster since June 2020 at the Ouaga Prestige club (Ouagadougou). He served at multiple levels, including as Vice President Education, Club President, Assistant Club Growth Director, and Assistant Program Quality Director. he has contributed to his club's excellence (Perfect Ten twice), to the creation of new clubs, and to member development. He is the co-initiator of the "Open Mic – Become the Speaker Who Inspires" programme, designed to strengthen the oratorical skills of Toastmasters in Burkina Faso. Passionate about leadership and mentor to around twenty members, he is committed to guiding each member toward greater confidence, impact, and excellence.

Monsuru Sodeeq, DTM, is an Economic Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, and Researcher specialising in digital policy and AI governance. He helps institutions unlock their potential by translating data into policy insights, strengthening governance frameworks, and driving informed decision-making. As Division G Program Quality Director, District 130, Toastmasters International, he drives excellence in member education, mentors emerging leaders, and empowers members to become confident speakers and impactful communicators. Monsuru is the founder of the Monsuru Sodeeq Foundation and author of five books. He is committed to shaping Africa’s digital future through mentorship and thought leadership.

Danielle Adetunji is a Congolese finance professional turned entrepreneur, following a career in senior leadership roles across international organisations. Building on this experience, she now focuses her expertise on impact-driven initiatives, with a particular emphasis on financial inclusion. She designs practical and innovative solutions that make financial services more accessible to underserved communities. Deeply committed to people development, Danielle is also an active member of Toastmasters, where she continues to strengthen her leadership and communication skills while supporting others in their growth. A sports enthusiast and dedicated advocate for youth and women, she embodies a leadership style that is human-centred, inclusive, and purpose-driven.

An engineer in the oil sector, I am also a certified John Maxwell trainer and DS 34 within our vibrant District 130. My mission: to train and support young African leaders, engineers, and entrepreneurs in developing the skills, vision, and discipline needed to create lasting impact. Through an approach combining transformational leadership, entrepreneurship, and energy engineering, I help those who are willing to become change-makers capable of transforming their organisations and communities. And my success is largely tied to Toastmasters. My values: Love, justice, freedom, and excellence.
